Florida Real Estate State Exam Pass/Fail Rates for May 2019

DEEPER DIVE...

The above 30-second video highlights the passing rates for the state exam, however, we’d like to share with you a bit of a deeper dive into the numbers for each of the license types.

SALES ASSOCIATE LICENSE

During the month of May, 2,738 individuals sat down to take the real estate sales associate exam for the first time with 1,284 individuals (47%) passing the exam on the first try. Additionally, 2,746 individuals attempted the real estate exam for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc time. Of the repeat test-takers, only 868 (32%) passed the exam with 1,878 (68%) failing the repeat attempt.

BROKER LICENSE

During the month of May, 248 individuals sat down to take the real estate broker exam for the first time with 151 individuals (61%) passing the exam on the first try. Additionally, 209 individuals attempted the real estate broker exam for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc time. Of the repeat test-takers, only 75 (36%) passed the exam with 134 (64%) failing the repeat attempt.

INSTRUCTOR LICENSE

During the month of June, 7 individuals sat down to take the real estate instructor exam for the first time with 3 individuals (43%) passing the exam on the first try. Additionally, 6 individuals attempted the real estate broker exam for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc time. Of the repeat test-takers, only 3 (50%) passed the exam with 3 (50%) failing the repeat attempt.
