Each month, the DBPR’s Bureau of Education and Testing releases the statewide pass/fail rates for all licensing exams the State of Florida gives. Below are the results from August 2022 for the real estate exams.
The results are broken down by license type, first-time test takers, repeaters who took the exam multiple times, and then the blended total. The percentage shown in green is the percentage that passed the exam.
SALES ASSOCIATE EXAM
In August 2022, the State of Florida administered 5,078 total Sales Associate exams in person at a testing center, with 2,627 first-time test takers and 1,323 repeat test takers. The State of Florida also administered 2,786 online proctored exams, with 1,508 first-time test takers and 1,280 repeat test takers.

BROKER EXAM
In August 2022, the State of Florida administered 403 total Broker exams in person at a testing center, with 207 first-time test takers and 196 repeat test-takers. The State of Florida also administered 180 online proctored exams, with 97 first-time test takers and 83 repeat test-takers.

INSTRUCTOR EXAM
In August 2022, the State of Florida administered 18 total Instructor exams in person at a testing center, with 12 being first-time test takers and 6 being repeat test-takers. The State of Florida also administered 2 online proctored exams, with 2 being first-time test takers and 0 being repeat test-takers.

SUMMARY
The real estate exams are not to be taken lightly. They are difficult exams and are designed to ensure that the test taker is minimally competent to practice real estate in the State of Florida. Anyone wishing to sit for one of the Florida real estate license exams must be prepared and ensure they know the material inside and out.
